What is a Guest House?
Housing in Japan is very expensive, and often available only for long term residents; if to foreigners at all. Our Guest House is an alternative to the high price of hotels if you are staying for only a few months, or for the risk of renting an apartment you haven't seen before you even get into Tokyo.
Our Guest House is a small group of secure private furnished bedrooms, with communal kitchen, bathroom, laundry facilities.

Why should I consider staying in a Guest House?
If you are coming to Tokyo for a holiday of more than 2 weeks, then our Guest House is cheaper accommodation than a hotel.
If you are moving to Tokyo for work, then it can be your home and mailing address until you have found a more permanent place to live.

Who can stay at your Guest House?
Almost anyone can stay at our Guest House. However, due to nature of the living area, we do not allow children (10years or under) to stay, and children under the age of 16 must be accompanied at all times by an adult. This is not from fear of the child's safety, but to ensure the other tenants are not being disturbed.
What do i need, to move into your Guest House ?
Unlike normal rental apartments which require around 6 months deposit, key money (a gift to the property owner), and a Guarantor; we only require a photocopy of your photo ID (Alien Registration Card, Passport, Japanese drivers licence), and a ¥30,000 deposit.

Will my Deposit be returned?

Your deposit is our assurance that tenants do not destroy the rooms. So long as you do not break things deliberately, you will most probably receive ¥25,000 of your deposit returned to you. After you have left the Guest House, your room will be cleaned by professional cleaners, as it had been before you moved in. ¥5,000 of your deposit will be kept for this purpose. Every tenant pays this to ensure that every other tenant moves into consistently clean rooms.

Who pays for the Gas, Electricity, and water I use?
We do. Aside from your rent each month, and your ¥30,000 deposit, you do not have to pay anything.
<humor>We are, of course, willing to accept donations</humor>.

How secure is the Guest House?
When you move into our Guest House, you will be provided with 2 different keys. 1 of these keys is for the communal entrance and all the resident's of the Guest House will have a key. The other, which only you have, is your room key. Each room has it's own unique lock and key. You and your belongings, locked in your room, are very safe. Storing things in the common areas is not recommended for it interferes with the other tenants, and has on the very rare occasions been stolen.
In the event that something of yours is stolen from your room in our Guest House, we recommend taking the issue up directly and immediately with the Japanese Police Department.

Can 4 friends share a room?

Each room is designed to house 1 person. It is possible for our larger rooms to house a couple, so if you and your partner wish to stay at our Guest House, we will accommodate the 2 of you. As for groups sharing a room, the answer is "NO". We must consider the feelings of our other tenants.

Can i bring my Pet?
No. We know that they are lovely, and clean, but we do not allow animals in our Guest Houses.
